Well, I could list all the movies that are filmed in my town but it would
take a page or possibly two. Anyway way cool dude.

The one of note that I got to see somewhat up close was the last
Jurrassic Park movie, Part of it was filmed at the arboretum here
in LA county and I got to walk up to one of the smaller dinosaurs
they used in the movie. Awesome realism, even up close.

Actually, I live in the outskirts of London in the countryside, in an area called Mill Hill. All around that animal testing centre is country side...it's only that the building itself looks very out of place and urban.

Behind and infront of that building is lots of countryside ^o^

Well from 50 feet away you'd swear it was alive except it doesn't move.
From up next to it you can feel the skin was some sort of rubber
and the eyes..they look real and even move .. It has legs
and such on it but the way it was made to move was it was
on wheels and had a motor in it and someone inside driving...or maybe
remotely driven. In the movie then obviously they edited out anything
that you could see, like wheels. It was big but not sure it was actually
lifesize but they make it look so using thier movie tricks.

The one I saw was a stagosaurous, you know the ones with pointy
                      things up the back.

They filmed Species 2 in a warehouse behind the hardware store I worked in. It was wierd. The set builders would come in and buy four dozen doorknobs and other wierd crap.

Yup. Medicines and stuff. There were some protesters there a month ago who thought it would be unethical to shoot the batman film there.
