  • Will lean KO's be out in 1.3?

I've stood in doorways to block them (1 step back) and get "lean ko'd".

    Another question:

Will door blocking also be out in 1.3?

Bigger Hint: Close the door first

This is in relation to my ko on de isn't it gerbs? All I can say is that your back was not up against a wall, and you were not entirely inside the room. In that respect, removing lean kos would be lame, its a perfectly valid tactic I and some others use.

Well IMO leaning is flawed as it is anyway. In Thief, and in real life, if you lean out from behind a doorway or something, you are visible to anyone who gets in your line of sight. I think it should be like that in Thievery too.

He's right. Leaning animations would be good. Especially for arrow fights round corners. But there are bigger priorities like a sword swinging anim would be brilliant.

That would negate the whole feature, seeing as you lean to remain unseen...

IMO you shouldn't be able to attack at all when leaning. This would not only eliminate lean-KO's, both also sniping from corners and to an extent vent-hunting.

If you can lean irl, why can't you lean to achieve things online?

Yes it does, the original reason leaning was introduced was to lean around corners of well lit rooms to see if the coast is clear, so a thief could make a mad dash through the room to the shadows. AFAIK thieves do not automatically turn invisible while they lean, so that's BS.

Secondly, you try leaning sideways and still hitting someone with a club without either missing or losing your balance. This isn't the matrix FFS, what's next, using lean to dodge bolts?

If you are in a dark place you can afford to lean if you are in a lit up building then its more risky isnt it!

That is not the whole point damnit. What you're trying to do is ruin a ghosters feature so it would only be used for malicious intent. I will not have it.

                            I don't wanna debate it.
Just wondering if lean kos will be in 1.3

                              Gerbil,

I know you don't believe me, but I am telling you the truth. Whether you had pivoted for a moment or whatever I am not sure, however what I am sure of is the fact that I saw your back at a 45 degree angle when I koed.

I know it is difficult to prove that I am genuine in what I am saying, but you'll have to take my work for it, on my screen, on both accounts (SW and yourself) I definately saw a back to ko, otherwise it would not have been feasable.
