Listening Question

This goes for anyone using a surround sound system, headphones, or an outstanding sound system to play Thievery.

Assuming all else is quiet, or at a manageable level, what kind of noises can you hear, that are honestly, unrealistic? For instance, being able to hear sound from underneath the ground you are walking on. Any and all instances would be appreciated.

The Rectory has some really tiny walls... At least you will be able to hear everything going on in that house no matter where you are in it... or next to it.
I got a 4.1 surround system. Anyways, most sound in the game uses collision spheres... And it's only the Dynamic set sounds that dont go trough walls IIRC. All other sounds will be heard in their collision sphere. Now it's really hard to place a sphere with center in an object without its sound going trough every nearby wall and floor. A good example is the Clocks you my found on some level's (Grange for one) It has a set radius which means if you stand ontop of the stairs you wont be able to hear it... but go into the room behind were it's standing and you can still hear it. Also the sound tend to pop out all of a sudden.

SInce i have been making a map i know about this, and you can not imagine how fustrating it is.

I love being able to hear anything down in the crypts when I am in the rectory or anywhere else almost on KOrman.

I play The Beatles full blast and dont use any thievery sounds or music.
Load the beatles collection up then start tut

Not always, no, sometimes its western films music.
