Will I need the original Thievery beta 1(121 MB) if I want to install version 1.3(=patch) or it will be a new release(file>121MB) and the original will not be necessary ?

They're calling it a patch, so I'd guess you need the original beta. Depending on how it's done, you might need the 1.2 patch, too, but you won't need the 1.1. -
I can see a point emerging here though, perhaps people should have the option of a full download (v1.3, no patch required) to save total downloading time.
It's not a big issue at the moment, but after 1.3, people will have downloaded several maps twice (the initial & patched versions) & this means they have to spend extra time downloading files that will be overwritten.
By inlcuding it all in one file, new players won't have to spend quite so long downloading
