  • Jesper Kyd

Dunno if you guys have heard of this man, but he's worth the recognition. If you didn't know, he's doing some music for Nightblade, according to Black Cat. The site was down when the news was posted, but its up and running now. I just listened to some of his music and it's awesome! This is really professional work! My question is how Black Cat secured the tallent of this guy for free?

          Word!

Reactor for Messiah is also a really good track:.

And some of the freedom fighters music is also pure class.

In general... everything he makes rocks, altough some of it is to ambient to listen to outside of games... But inside it really fits.

No wait... Holland? Nederburg? I forget... Oh, right! Denmark!

                Kydd is a dane?

[Edit:] Of course I know you're from Germany. I was just joking here...

Why do you think he has been making music for all of IO Interactives games? (They are located in Denmark...)

While he is famous... No one knows who he is.

A news article in a danish paper some weeks ago, annouced him as our new unknown "Aqua"(A danish music band that became known around the world... i think), having sold 6 million copies of his cd's (Games).
Yet, hardly anyone knows who you are talking about if you ask them about Jesper Kyd.

Now, i wont say i know him as such... We were just doing business. 8)

So, how did you convince him to do this, MB? It's not like he plays Thievery or anything....
