  • i have actually watched that trailer a lot..

Considering there wasnt a lot in it.. and the game was probably only 10% then of what they have now, it was a well put together trailer and it made me want the mod more.

The Music from it was the ultimate adrenaline pumping fraggin music.. thanks to that trailer, my ut2004 playlist only has that one background tune when i play

    • I watched it a few times, i don't think any more than a few hundred

Well the title of thread is MP Testing for Nightblade, well I was showing that there actually was testing going on at one point in time, and while i was talkin about the trailer I decided i'd point out a few things in the trailer that you were showing off that some people might have not paid attention to/ scene

      • I don't think the trailer represents the current vision and design of Nightblade.

        • Yea, after hearing about them maybe not having TvG or TvT

          Maybe some second thoughts ?

But with them new guards and thieves, I picture Nightblade not being as fast as the trailer shows , unless MB sped it up some in the trailer?

But that 2 blue, 2 red thief scene was great

          • I Think TvG will make it in.. (or HOPE anyway). Pure speculation of course, but if i remember reading right, i do recall seeing a statement that TvG may be included way after Guild vs Guild was canned, unless they have again changed thier minds and i havnt seen it...

With the majority of Night-Blades audience being thier already established Thievery community, it would be best if BCG included it to make it appeal to the more die-hard thievery fans who want some good old fasioned, no-nonesense taffing around

Really though.. i dont think it will be that hard to put in, just make a copy of the orginal game mode minus shades team, and im guessing most of the maps could have modified objectives for TVG anyway.. meaning they wont need to make specialised TvG only maps.. its probably something that will be re-looked at after they are finished tinkering with TvGvS.

            • Im sure you could just code it yourself if they dont put it in
              ..it's safer here.

              • I doubt we will add GvT as a seperate gameplay... you can play good old ThieveryUT for that. And what WildBill said about the trailer is true.

                    • I'm not so hot on the shades business, but a 3rd team could make the gameplay intereseting slightly... Looking forward to when this is finished
