  • Nightblade interviewage on Evil Avatar

    Here you go...
    http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=754

Apparently they have part 2 of it coming up later on.

Just noticed Dark Mod is there too: http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=270

(Also, why the hell did I post this here and not the Nightblade forum?)
Ah, to be a hero. Keeping such company...

Probably because they spend as long talking about Theivery as Nightblade.

        Good read, thanks DQ.

I like the part when oRGy smashes the guy around with his vocabulary

Jashin: Which in the series are you drawing your design from? Hardcore fans are saying that Thief 3 was a departure in terms of artistic style.
oRGy: Yeah, well I'd say Thievery drew an awful lot from Thief I and 2 in terms of style. For Nightblade, we've progressed on a bit from that.
              Jashin: How?
oRGy: For example, we've tried to expand the aesthetic vision to architecture inspired by German Expressionistic renderings of the idea of the metropolis [architecture], and in particular, the aesthetic differentials between opulence and poverty.
oRGy: That would be architecture. In terms of lighting, we're experimenting with a greater contrast and more thought going into color schemes in the various zones of the levels that reflect these themes as well. Basically, we've got a syncretic, more intellectual approach that borrows from a whole host of sources.
Wow! I'm psyched! This sounds awesome!
