    I'd like to see that included as well... but from what I heard, it's really difficult with UT.

      Hmm, I'll briefly correct you...

      It shouldn't be too hard to actually animate the swords swinging BUT I assume it would be awkward to relate these animations to a dynamic collsion cylinder so that when a player swings/thrusts his sword, a check is actually done to see if the 3rd person sword hits anything.

      Currently, the method used for determining whether a sword makes contact is pretty short & sweet, using a small trace to determine whether anything lies infront of the player, taking into account whether the swing is horizontal or vertical.

      I'm kindof hoping that TUT sword animations will eventually evolve to those of the bastard sword in ChaosUT, which is incredibly impressive.
