Also, if you quickly switch loadouts, and right-click, you will keep the sword, as well as 600 loot worth of items. Once the sword is put away, you can't have it back, but you can still cleave a few heads with it.

When I buy a sword, I'd rather it stayed tucked away until I actually wanted it out.

Indeed, the noise can give you away. -_-


It used to be worse in 1.2, when there wasn't spawn invisibility. If you'd buy a sword, you'd get hammered by AI, because they could see you in the shadows.
