I was watching a game in Folly and saw a thief running in the snow and all and i thought: "Hey! How cool would it be if catfalls prevented you from leaving footprints?".

    Your thoughts?

No it doesn't. It makes your footsteps silent, but it doesn't keep you from leaving footprints

They make you silent, but not hide your footsteps in the snow. Gonna check right now, anyways. If i don't post/edit, it's cause they do not hide them.
[Edit]Just checked, they are visible, so proposition applies.[/edit]

If not it should be in.

Please... no ! Comboing thieves (invis+catfall) are already hard to catch , using firebolts if they pass by chokepoints... but if they leave footprints because they walked on blood or snow the guards should always see them. Plus it would be unrealistic else... Lag makes it hard to actually find where a thief runs and I was once circlestrafed after following bloody footprints...
Thieves can wash blood with water arrows. Things are fair imho.

I double checked this, too. Currently, thieves under the effect of a catfall DO leave footprints.

Logicly the catfall potion would lessen your body weight to 1/6 thereby not giving as hard of an impression on soft snow... I'd say make it NOT leave prints, I love the idea

How about breathing potion that makes your breath fog outdoors disappear for a time? Currently, it's easy to track a thief outdoors, by following his footprints and, if he's not moving, his breathing.

You'd never be able to show your face again if you drowned on a map with no water....

As for the idea, I'm not sure either way...it's a good idea but I think it should only work in snow, not blood.
