New Suggestion: Generalize "right-click" and "
I'm sure mine says 'middlemouse' which is what I have set to frob....
Yes, and after I changed frob to NumberPad1 mine says that.
I'll be even more specific. In Windows I have exchanged what the right and left mouse buttons do. When I start TUT the list of keybinds does not know this. So things get reversed!
Ohhhh....I see said the blind man.
Yea, that sucks dude. Sorry that I don't know what to do for ya. Maybe someone who really loves the .ini files can figure out something for ya.

The game in various places provides me with written prompts to "Right Click to Continue" or whatever. These normally are incorrect for my mouse which has its buttons swapped.
Really? I thought you could change those. It links to the 'fire' and 'frob' buttons. If you have 'left click' in fire as your first or alternate button, it will always tell you to 'left click', but, if its not there, it tells you to hit whatever button is keyed to 'fire'. Same with the frob button. I haven't tried reversing the two buttons, however. Check it out.
New Suggestion: Generalize "right-click" and "
I'm left handed. The game's directions are usually 100% wrong for me, regarding screen prompts to "right-click" or "left-click".
Possible solutions:
(a) The game detects or has a box to check in player setup for "left handed". If detected/checked, then the screen prompts are changed to say the proper thing.
(b) Reword the prompt with "click" for "left-click" and "alternate-click" for "right-click", or something like that.
