Copied Suggestion: Countdown Team Switch Button

During the countdown it would be nice to be able to switch from one team to another with a simple click on a "button".

Hmm, nope... I don't think you should be able to change your vote in the teamvote stage... that would be highly annoying (people click guard, and at the last moment they'll click thief, so you get to be guard instead...

I do think the people that don't vote before the round starts should be either spectators, or just dumped in the team that needed more people... IE, vote = 6 thieves, 1 guard, 2 spectators... then the spectators would be added to the guard team before team balance kicks in.

Hm. I was imagining it would help people that wanted to be on the same team coordinate this, with the assumption that everyone is polite. I guess if people wanted to be annoying they could.

Unless some extra programming was done to give all of the "hasn't switched" people first priority in their choices, then all of the "has switched" people second priority.

This wouldn't be good, as people who are AFK would be added to a team, which would be unfair to that team. However I do agree that there should be some way to discourage waiting for the round to start to join a team. Perhaps if once the round has started, it requires a vote to join the game-in-progress?

I really like this idea. Only thing is the person would have to be voted in and then join a team otherwise all the players on the other team would say no :p
