Here's an idea that I had for a new object that could be coded into Thievery:
Explosive barrels:
-Can be carried around in the same fashion as crates
-Detonates upon receiving damage (perhaps only fire-based damage or flares)
The moveable bit would definately be optional, & so mappers could have piles of these barrels in "sensitive" areas, so that players would have to adopt a more cautious attitude.
You could even link them to destroyable walls, so that thieves can use them to blow open certain parts of the map (would have to be pretty obvious which areas can be destroyed). It wouldn't be very stealthy, but would definately add a fair punch to a map
