How about some stones laying about that could be thrown a fair distance (maybe a power gauge) that made the same noise as a footstep so you could convice a guard that you had just run down a corridor with a well aimed ricochet. Maybe some small damage too. They would also be dark so they wouldnt show you up.

No one uses them because they are bright red, and arent reuseable and prob other reasons, such as your noisy bow.KiechComment

But thumper arrows will still obviously have the bow sound drawback. Why are they preferable over stones which can do all the same things?
