Using a hand-to-hand weapon while crouched. I think it should be dropped. Besides the obvious "guards can't venthunt anymore" scenario, my major point is this:
Blocking. Right now, when you attack with a sword/mace/bj, you really just create a 'damage zone' in front of you. Blocking puts up a 'barrier' in front of you that does the same thing. Neither way really cares if you are crouched or not. Forcing the player to stand up when striking would enforce confrontation rules AND make up for the fact that when you crouch, you really don't have any room to swing in the first place - not to mention the loss of power. This would also prevent a thief from attempting a BJ/backstab from a postition that otherwise is unrealistic.
Note that I am not saying to apply this to blocking or ranged weapons.
