  • TurfWars - Choosing Turf

    Here is the randomly determined order for the guilds in TurfWars to choose their starting turf:
    • 1. KYO - Nostalgia, Flats, 2500 loot
      2. TCO - Grange, Aquatone, 1300 loot
      3. ToB - Darkened Enlightenment, Bourgeois, 1400 loot
      4. ATG - Theatre, Spiders, 1300 loot
      5. FAG - Korman, Asylum, 750 loot
      6. RLF/Wraiths - Gerome, Breakout, 1400 loot
      7. CTG - Folly, SkeltstonHead, 1000 loot

    Would the leaders of each guild please send me, a list of their top picks. The list should include as many choices, in order, as your position on the list. For example, KYO should send me their top choice, TCO should send me their top 2, ToB their top 3 and so on. Once I've received each guild's picks, I'll post who got what maps and what maps are remaining, and we'll do a second round of picks then.

    The RLF/Wraiths will have Turf picks for you shortly. Probably a day or two.

      I'm just waiting for all the fellow FAGs to vote on which maps we should opt for. I'll be collating the choices & pass them onto you Monday night (GMT).

      (It's becoming sods-law that whenever I ask for an opinion from all fellow guild-members, I get less than half of them replying)

      NOTE TO FAG-members: IF YOU HAVEN'T VOTED ON YOUR MAP CHOICES BY MONDAY NIGHT, YOU WILL HAVE MISSED YOUR CHANCE TO VOTE. I'm trying to push this along quickly but not rushed.

        Then make the choice based on the votes you DO have. If anyone who didn't vote doesn't like it, they hardly have room to complain, do they?

        I'm seeing one change that should probably be made to the rules already. When initial map selection is going to go through two cycles, the second round, the order should be reversed, that is, whoever picked last in the first cycle picks first in the second. But we'll go with it as written for now.

          Yup I know how ya feel this is the same with my guild members but for once im gonna be kind to them (knowing most want to play turf wars) and say we're in:

                Registration is closed. Once it's started, you can enter as a "guild without turf". There should be a couple new maps with the new patch that will go into the "unclaimed turf" pool. You can make grabs for those, and perhaps the other guilds will be kind enough not to challenge your takeovers.

                        yup we just got told it's too late tho I never saw LR actually put up a you have such and such a time to reply to post.

                        But at least you're not alone

                        btw LR remember no guild is allowed th-flats cos we nabbed it at version one of the Turf Wars rules

                          I received your email about this, adn replied to it. Everything you need to know should be in there. One thing I'll mention here, though, is that to qualify for TurfWars, a guild must have a minimum of three members.

                          I said earlier in the week, in the other TurfWars thread that I was closing registration at the end of the week. As of that time, you had not expressed an interest, and in fact, had specifically said to count you out. You're quite welcome to join in under the "guilds without turf" rules, though.
