    • No collision on trees in exit zone (No conifers anymore).
    • Note in dining hall disappears into wall.
    • Clock (Master bedroom) can be picked up by guards.
    • All food and supplies in guard stores accessible without crate = FAIL
    • Some halls pitch black where there should be zonelight - zoneinfo was embedded in new table.
    • Map [no longer] requires citytex.utx
    • Bot named Zebediah Gangle gets stuck sometimes.
    • Text of some readables badly aligned (Book in Library).
    • Shield has incorrect rotation when dropped.

    Revisions:
    • Better audio, layout and aesthetics in north hall, exit garden, north gardens.

I'll be keeping these lists up to date.

    =======

Lurox found the first proper one: some residual textures from a package called citytex.utx

I thought every use of those textures was referenced to MyLevel, but it seems not. Sorry. Some people seem to be able to run it, but some can't. I've uploaded a zip of the texture package here:

    http://www.shadowguild.net/~nachimir/citytex.zip

So for all the beta testers: I'm really sorry about this. It's a one meg download, and I'll make sure all need for non-standard packages is eradicated in the next version.

I started doing some custom skins over the weekend and have seen that file as a basic one in ut texures folder. Maybe some versions dont have that tho.

Yes. I think the textures are on the covered faces of a mover, hence show polys and cull not getting rid of them. Whoops!

Nope, it's not a standard texture package. I believe it's by a guy called T. Ahlen, who made a lot of very good realism maps for mods like Infiltration.

                  (Sorted )

If you're a beta tester haven't got a PM yet, get me, Phae, or mOdEtWo on IRC. FYI, Biohazard is also testing now. We just had a few games, and found a decent amount of bugs so far.

[edit]put bug list in first post for convenience[/edit]

The BSP and the triggerbool bugs are howlers ops: Meanwhile, here's a WIP on some more texture work:

There are so many people testing, and it's so close to being release-worthy that we might as well report bugs here if that's okay with everyone. Please keep secrets though!

i found that little clock above fireplace in master room can be picked up by a guard...it's worth 15 buckos

i also think you should make the switch to open the gates not guard frobable because i had no idea what it does and so i failed the guard objective caus i pressed it.

why don't those flames come out of the oven anymore int eh kitchen?

you know about the messed up doors i'm guessing

other then that it's the best map i've seen! great job

C'mon, Nachimir, you were told about that in beta 1.

I think the lever should stay as it is so guards can close the gate if it's already been opened, it's only one of a number of ways to exit so I see no problem with it.

It's pretty hard to grab the food on the shelf in the guard storeroom(but maybe that's why there are boxes outside it).

The first line of what should be on the last page of the book in the library is on the previous page.

                        You've done a great job.

OK, list updated. (Sorry Salvage, small things tend to slip through )

I'm thinking about that gate... the first thing BioHazard did as guard was throw the switch; I'd just spawned as the only thief and was so busy laughing I couldn't move. He then went and smashed the glass on the display cases; cue Phae shouting

I thought about a switch outside the gate house, but as Ulukai once said that would create TH-HowToAmuseTwoIdiots. So, I think I might take the objctive failed out of it as suggested by DP. It would make it slightly harder for guards, because there would be no level-wide notification that the gate had been opened. Then again, as Salvage said there are two other ways out that don't need the gate raised - so it's not as if camping on the lever is a problem.

Bingo You can get it by standing on the corner of the desk and leaning, and I put the boxes outside after Shadow Creepr suggested them. They're located where they are becase if they're used, they give a visual cue that someone might be in the guard storeroom (Scribbles down sneaky tactic...).

or at least have a note above the switch telling us what it does
