  • ...Where do you download user made missions?

ops: I guess this is really obvious to everyone else.

But I have scoured (...yes, scoured) the theivery UT site, and cannot find a section, page, or link, where user made missions can be downloaded. So much for my thieving skills.

I am just getting into this, I have just downloaded the mod and UT patch. I can't wait to try it!

I have another question; are their missions available that you actually play like in the original Thief game, where there is a plot and stuff, except you actually have multiple player thieves and guards playing??

If you have played Perfect Dark on the N64, they have a similar 2p mode, where the 2nd player takes on the role of a random bad guy somewhere in the level, and since their life is so low, when they die they just assume the body of the next available baddie. I wondered if it was anything like that.

    Welcome to Thievery.

The extra maps are hosted by several of the major thievery guild websites such as ToB - http://www.tears-of-blood.com/maps.html

In reference to your other question - although all Thievery maps can be played single player, they are designed to be played multiplayer. One team play as the thieves while the other team possesses and commands the AI guards. Sometimes you can see as many as 5 guards against 5 thieves playing online.

Maps can also be downloaded from the Shadowguild site or the Team Crackaz site, if there's any problem with the Tears of Blood site.

      Welcome to the game!

Well, I'm working on an singleplayer (and coop) missionpack. A plot and other stuff will be included
But it's just a conversion of an old missionpack for unreal 1.
Working on TH-Haven, the first singleplayer (and coِp) missionpack for thievery.

And what exactly does this have to do with where you download your maps?

What's the problem, Omega? Domarius asked if there was a single player campaign for Thievery. Immortius' post is completely on topic for this thread.

Right, and that's what I was responding to. Domarius asked if there was a single player campaign for Thievery, freyk responded that he was working on one.

Thanks guys! - so is http://www.tears-of-blood.com/maps.html the best one, or should I check those other 2 links just as often?

How do I find the other "major thievery guild websites"? Just enter "thievery ut maps" in google, or is there a list somewhere?

The TOB website stays pretty up to date and would be a great place to check for new maps.

For a list of guilds and their websites go here:

                      http://www.thieveryut.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=49

That is the Guild section of this forum.
You can check out anytime you like, but you can NEVER leave.

Check out brodys site http://www.brodyschallenge.homeip.net/ for a very complete list of up-to-date guild links. They are on the right side of the page.
