    The first question is: None. You'll have to create one yourself or steal one from current maps.

    The second question, I had a simular bug with a texture I used. I had moss / leaves on the wall and for some reason they caused the bug you see now. Every mesh hid behind the leaves and only apeared where it was masked ( transelucent ) What I did was making the texture transperant ... that fixed my problem.

    However for your problem, you can't make it transperant for it's a wall. I would however try to make the brush go to the last order, and collide the wall texture in the texture options. You know, to make the textures all the same, for the floor and for walls. If that doesn't work, atleast you tried.

    That's the Unreal Engine. It's gay like that. They didn't even bother to fix that with 2k3! No clue if it even IS fixable, but because the way Unreal handles the True3D environment, it sometimes messes up wiht drawing certain things. Especially if you're using DirectDraw.
