  • Several entrances in building - good or bad?

This is probably more a gossip thread but since I still have litle experience in UED mapping (hardest part was beggining to) i would like to share my doubts about this issue.
On my map (TH-Library) the buiding is suposed to have at least some 6 ways (8 max), a front door, several windows and a balcony with double doors on the 1st floor.
These doors and windows should act a zone portals but im not sure if TUT can handle so many portals. I do know that leaving those portals open causes heavy slowdown (Try opening every single door on TH-Archery to see what i mean).
Considering that, should i maintain my project or reduce the number of entrances?

Note: The exit area is located outside the building

You can have 64 ZONES. The ZONE PORTALS are what separate them. So don't worry about it

ahh....Legal beat me to it! You can have as many zone portals as you want - it's the zones themselves that are limited to 64. For example, if you put zoneportals at every orifice, effectively sealing off the room 'airtight'....you have created one zone,...even if you portalized 6, 8 or 10 times over to seal that room, hall, or space.
